Community Chest Program
We are pleased to announce the official launch of our Community Chest program, launched alongside Ealing’s Together Fund. Our Community Chest program aims to support community organisations, social enterprises, and charities to deliver activities that benefit the Southall and Hayes community. It offers local grants for projects in the areas of skills, training and employment, culture and heritage, health and wellbeing, sustainability and the environment.
How does it work?
Each year we can fund organisations or projects with a total funding amount available of £25,000. We will part or fully fund projects that meet our criteria.
To independently assess and manage all grant applications, The Green Quarter has partnered with the crowdfunding website Spacehive. On Spacehive, local stakeholders can register their projects and go through the grant application process.
All information on how to start a project on Spacehive, The Green Quarter Community Chest and other funding opportunities in Southall can be found on our dedicated Spacehive website.

Following our call for grant ideas in the Spring, our independent Community Engagement Steering Group (CESG) will decide on which projects will be funded by The Green Quarter. The CESG group is made up of local residents, community groups, businesses, and other key stakeholders from the community.
They will be deciding which projects will make the most difference to the area and look forward to seeing all your fantastic ideas. For more information or assistance, please contact us on 0800 1422 752 or by email to info@thegreenquartercommunity.co.uk
