The Green Quarter officially launched its 2025/26 Social Impact Report with a fantastic evening of celebration at Parkside Yards, bringing together local leaders, partners, stakeholders and members of the Southall community to reflect on a year of meaningful impact and achievement.

The event celebrated our accomplishments at The Green Quarter over the past year, highlighting the growing sense of community, opportunity and collaboration that continues to shape both the development and the wider Southall area. Guests enjoyed a vibrant evening featuring inspiring speeches and live performances that showcased the incredible local talent and partnerships that make our community so special.

One of the standout moments of the evening was a special performance by pupils from Dairy Meadows Primary School, whose uplifting rendition of ‘Walking on Sunshine’ perfectly captured the atmosphere and the warm weather. Southall FC, proudly sponsored by The Green Quarter, also brought along the prestigious Middlesex Senior Challenge Cup trophy fresh from their recent victory, giving attendees the opportunity to see the historic silverware up close.

The latest Social Impact Report highlights a wide range of initiatives, including community events, work placement opportunities, educational programmes, investment in local organisations, and the continued creation of spaces that foster a genuine sense of belonging. It also celebrates the involvement and leadership of local community groups whose contributions have helped shape The Green Quarter into a thriving neighbourhood destination.

The report presentation, led by Head of Business and Community Engagement Jags Sanghera, included speeches from Xander Du Plessis, Technical Director at St George West London, and Mandie Wilde, COO of Open Southall. In partnership with Berkeley, Open Southall helps deliver the community events hosted at Parkside Yards, which has become an active and vibrant hub at the centre of The Green Quarter. Guests also heard from The Worshipful the Mayor of Ealing, Anthony Kelly, and local business owner Indy Bhamra of IKB Eventworks, who spoke about how working with The Green Quarter has supported not only her own business, but also many other local businesses she collaborates with across Southall.

The evening was a fitting celebration of an impactful year at The Green Quarter, with even more exciting initiatives and opportunities planned for the year ahead.
