Following the success of last year’s event, The Green Quarter again welcomed the community to Parkside Yards for the Emergency Response Roadshow, a free, family-friendly event designed to boost local preparedness and help residents learn how to respond to emergencies like flooding or critical incidents.
Activities were fun and interactive, and the event brought together representatives from The London Fire Brigade, The London Ambulance Services, Metropolitan Police Service, The NHS, Military, Ealing Council services (Emergency Management, Highways, Street Services, Public Health, Climate Team, Community Engagement, Parking Services), Environment Agency, The Rapid Relief Team, British Red Cross, Thames Water, Royal Air Force, Air Ambulance, Barclays Cyber Unit, Salvation Army and the Canal & River Trust.
Visitors got up close to fire trucks, ambulances, Police vehicles and met the brave men and women who keep our community safe. Special guest Mayor of Ealing Faduma Mohamed also joined the festivities.
