We sat down with Gagan Dang, the owner of at Gagan’s Beauty Care, who explains why Southall is the perfect place to build a business.

Can you briefly tell us the story behind your business?

Gagan’s Beauty Care was founded by Gagan Dang with a vision to create a welcoming, all-in-one beauty space for the local community. Over the years, it has grown into a trusted salon built on strong relationships, loyal clients, and a passionate team—including beautician Pam, hairdresser Billie Nandra, and barbers Sahil and Sagar—who all bring their own expertise to the business.

Why did you choose Southall?

Southall is a vibrant and diverse area, full of culture and community spirit. It felt like the perfect place to build a business where people from all backgrounds could come together for self-care and grooming.

What do you offer, and what’s your most popular product or service?

We offer a full range of services including beauty treatments, hairdressing, nails, and barbering—all under one roof. Our most popular services are eyebrow threading by Pam, hair styling with Billie, and precision cuts and grooming from Sahil and Sagar.

What makes your business unique?

What sets us apart is our team and the welcoming, family-like atmosphere. Clients aren’t just customers—they become part of the salon community. We also support clients by attending weddings, bereavements & any special occasions.

How do you connect with or support the Southall community?

We’ve built long-standing relationships with our clients—many of whom are regulars and local families. Clients like Linda Bell, who has been visiting us for years, are a big part of our journey. Being part of Southall means supporting each other, and we’re proud to be a familiar and trusted part of the high street.

What’s new or coming up that people should know about?

We’re always evolving—bringing in new beauty treatments, keeping up with current hair trends, and offering seasonal packages to give our clients more choice and value.

What are your hopes for your business and Southall’s future?

We hope to continue growing while maintaining the personal touch we’re known for. For Southall, we’d love to see more independent businesses succeed and the area continue to thrive.

What do you love most about being based in Southall?

It’s the sense of community and diversity. Seeing familiar faces like Linda and welcoming new clients every day is what makes Southall so special to us.
