On 1st August, residents of The Green Quarter and the wider Southall community came together for our annual Parkside Yards Summer Fun Day, with more than 400 people attending throughout the day.
Guests took part in a wide range of attractions, including traditional fairground stalls, face painting, and arts and crafts activities. One of the day’s biggest highlights was the BMX bike show, where spectators watched in awe as riders performed a series of impressive tricks and stunts.
Live music kept the energy high throughout the event, while guests enjoyed a selection of delicious refreshments, from sweet treats to the ‘make-your-own’ smoothie bike.
We’d like to say a huge thank you to all our event partners who helped make the day such a success. We’d also like to say thank you to the independent traders at the Parkside Markets, who offered a fantastic variety of lifestyle products, helped create a vibrant atmosphere, and gave visitors the opportunity to support local businesses.
